At Checkie.AI, we’ve been working to bring the power of AI to the context of human testers. This chrome browser extension gives human testers AI superpowers at the touch of a button. We’ve updated it based on early feedback and the dreams of testers like you.
Custom AI Bots
With just a few clicks, Testers can create a custom AI bot of their own. These custom bots can ask anything of the AI about the current page. Just click ‘+ Custom Bot’, and you can add a prompt/question that will be auto-executed when the extension is opened. Yes you can name the bot anything you like, and yes, you can customize the avatar too.
Updated AI Bots
The default AI bots have been rethought and optimized, there are now four of them. You can turn them on/off with just a click. The bots:
Breaking: This bot likes to test with the goal of breaking the software.
Bugs: This bot suggets possible issues/bugs that might be on this page.
Crazy: This bot has crazy testing ideas to spark your imagine, or just giggle.
Edge: This bot thinks only of edge cases, all day, all night, all day.
Explore: This bot suggests things to explore that you might not have thought of yet.
Good: This bot does the unexpected, and tells you what is working, what is actually good about this website for some positivity!
Joker: This bot likes to joke around. Who said testing had to be boring?
RAnalysis: This bot thinks about wholistic risk.
Risks: This bot considers the risk of each feature on the page.
TestCases: This bot suggests some test cases for this page.
TData: This bot generatest test data ideas for the inputs on the page.
TestCases: This bot generates test cases you might not have thought of.
TestPlan: This bot generatest a quick test plan focused on the current web page.
UserFlows: This bot suggests the core flows that users will expect to be able to accomplish from this page.
Bias Prompting for Bots
You can now influence and control the built-in bots too. Simply add a biasing prompt, to influence all bots to do things such as focus on a given feature, ignore some aspects of checking, or anything you can imagine. The human is in control.
Custom Color
Something for all those fashion-concious testers out there. No one could agree on the right color for everything, so as usual, we decided to put the testers in control. Pick any color theme you like — even hot pink!
Checkie.AI Score
The Checkie.AI cloud bots have checked thousands of websites. If they have already checked the current site, the checkie score will appear. Its not easy to get an ‘A’, but google.com manages.
Secret Bots
There are surprises in inside — testing can sometimes make you bleary-eyed, and we can all use a little fun. One of those hidden treasures is the ability to unlock some AI bots modeled after real human testers. See what they have to say about the webpage without asking them.
